Project Manager & SEL Specialist
Kiley helps people who work with youth do that work better. At the Weikart Center, she provides technical assistance to clients across the country, including clients with a focus on social emotional learning. Previously, she oversaw the Forum for Youth Investment’s training programs – including the Ready by 21 Webinar Series and Ready by 21 Institutes – as well as coordinated the national Children’s Cabinet Network for statewide coordinating bodies.
Kiley began her career as a Lutheran Volunteer Corps member in Seattle, Wash., where she led a neighborhood meal program and advocated for insurance coverage for youth aging out of foster care. Then, in Illinois, she coordinated a statewide Violence Prevention Youth Advisory Board, developed service-learning opportunities at the Interfaith Youth Core, and oversaw an educational summer camp at Northwestern University.
Kiley received her B.A. in Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University and her M.A. in Social Service Administration, with a focus on community development, from the University of Chicago.
